Tinder and Hinge will be rolling out new protective features to make matching and dating safer for users.
Last week, they announced they will launch safety features including Tinder’s "Share My Date" and Hinge’s "Hidden Words."
Share My Date is a feature that lets users share their date plans directly with friends and family from the app! Love this!
I guess a lot of Tinder’s younger users were doing this already… so now it’s going to be a lot easier and they can share information including the location, date and time of the date, along with a photo of their match.
Hinge’s Hidden Words’ feature gives daters the ability to filter words, phrases and emojis in their incoming likes. So if you don’t want to see, for example, an eggplant emoji, you can block it.
Dating apps are still at an all-time high and Hinge for example is setting up a date every two seconds. So, it’s great to see they have better safety features now!
