Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House Walk for Kids

Join us for the annual Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House Walk for Kids!

On Saturday, June 2, SoCal residents will join together in support of critically ill children and their families to participate in the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House Walk for Kids, a fun and family-friendly non-competitive 5k (3.1 miles) pledge event that raises awareness and funds for the life-changing services provided by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California (RMHCSC). Built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child -- not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest -- RMHCSC serves as a lifeline for families with ill children when they need it most, providing a "home away from home" so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost.

This year the Walks will also offer on-site experiences including family-friendly carnival games, activities, Kids Zones, food, music and more.

100% of funds raised will directly support critically ill children and their families right here in the local community. RMHCSC serves families all across the Southland through six Ronald McDonald Houses located in Bakersfield, Inland Empire (Loma Linda), Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange and Pasadena, two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, and the cost-free Camp Ronald McDonald For Good Times®.
