A Heat Wave Is Headed To SoCal This Wednesday

A heat wave is making its way to SoCal starting tomorrow and the hottest days will be Thursday through Sunday! It could be anywhere between 90 - 100 degrees in the San Fernando Valley on Friday, whereas Downtown will be in the upper 80s.

These temperatures are really high for this time of the year. After all we are in June, where we experience that oh so famous "June Gloom" where we generally have those cooler temps. But, this is all being caused by a ridge of high pressure coming in from the southeast - according to The National Weather Service.

So, looks like you should plan to go to the beach or be poolside this coming weekend! Oh and as always reminder please do NOT leave your pets in the car when it's this hot, it is so so dangerous.
