The Animal Hope And Wellness Foundation in Sherman Oaks rescues dogs from slaughterhouses in Asia and is fighting to bring an end to the Asian Dog Meat Trade. They rescue dogs and bring them to the U.S for a new life and now some of these dogs are doing their part to bring joy to others. Every Tuesday the Animal Hope and Wellness foundation will be taking slaughterhouse victims in to senior homes. One of the women in the senior home said "I have been here for three years. I have no friends. I used to love my dog. But they do not let you have dogs. Please come to see me every week."
I love this! Survivors bringing joy to those in the home and they provide love right back to these dogs who have been through so much. I absolutely love this organization and eveything that they do. A very HUGE thank you to Marc Ching who does so much for these dogs, here and over seas.
