The five-time Olympic champion will star in E! program " What Would Ryan Lochte Do?"... It is set to run for six episodes in April.

It will follow Ryan as he prepares for the 2016 Rio Olympics while developing a fashion line, making media appearances, and dealing with his family and friends.

Just to add even more intrigue to the thrilling concept, it will also follow the Florida native's desperate search to find a girlfriend.

A taster was given at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Monday, with the jack the lad star being shown partying the night before he was due to swim, flirting with unsuspecting women, and even making up words as he tried to explain himself.

E! Entertainment president Suzanne Kolb said: 'Ryan Lochte captured everyone's attention at the Summer Olympics with his athletic prowess and his utterly unique and unaffected approach to life.

'He is an incredibly endearing personality who is sexy, entertaining and fun.
