It looks like Justin Bieber might be responsible for a groundbreaking moment in a courtroom. Police have recommended that the LA City Attorney’s Office charge 1 of the photographers that dangerously pursued Justin on the freeway under California’s new anti-paparazzi law.

If they go forward with the case, this would mark the first time charges have been filed under the law that aims to prohibit paparazzi from endangering lives in pursuit of a star. If he’s convicted, the photographer could face up to a year in prison. Which really is a high price to pay for a picture of anybody in traffic!
