Imitation may be the most sincere form of flattery, but still…we’re not sure how we would feel if our boyfriend named his hamster after us. At least Louis Tomlinson‘s girlfriend Eleanor Calder seems to be taking it all in stride.

As first reported by the British magazine Now Daily, the One Direction member and his family recently adopted a new pet: a hamster that Tomlinson’s younger sisters have named Eleanor.

His mother Jay tweeted out a photo of the cute critter recently saying: “@drdeakin How cute is our new little hamster? She was named ‘Eleanor’ by the twins @EleanorJCalder.”

To which Calder cheerfully replied: “@JayTommo @drdeakin Haha! Cute! Can’t wait to meet her xxx”

According to Now Daily, it would appear as if Calder is becoming quite close with the family. When a fan tweeted that it would be perfect if Calder were Jay’s daughter-in-law, Jay replied: “@elounorph @EleanorJCalder Yes it would x”
