The animated feature “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” debuted this weekend at #1 and David Schwimmer is back playing the lovably-neurotic giraffe Melman. If you have seen the movie or any of the others in the series it’s remarkable how “Schwimmer-like” Melman’s mannerisms seem.

So we asked him how do they do it? David told us: “They record us doing all the lines and then later they animate the character based on those expressions. I think it’s an incredible process.” It really is uncanny how Melman is like Schwimmer, just with hooves, spots, and an extremely long-neck.
