“Dancing with the Stars” team Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd called in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Monday to chat about what fans can expect tonight, Peta fills us in a what happens on a typical show day, Donald comments on the outfits he has had to wear and we find out if he really had to ask his wife for permission to take his shirt off.

Did Donald Ask His Wife For Permission To Take His Shirt Off?
“Yes, that’s one thing about my household, we have great communication. I wanted to make sure that she [his wife] was okay with it and me doing that,” he says. “Once she said I could do it, we made sure that the millions of fans watching the show got a taste of what she sees all the time.”

Donald On The ‘DWTS’ Outfits:
“This is what I told Peta before we even started, that I wasn’t putting the see through shirt on and all of that. So, I haven’t had to wear that yet,” Donald tells us. “I’ve worn the stretch pants, I just have to figure out, I don’t want them too tight, my legs are not that big. So, I can’t be looking like a toothpick out there.”

Peta Tells Us About Tonight’s Dance:
“We’ve got the Viennese waltz tonight and it’s classical week, so it’s perfect. We are playing a king and a queen, there’s no problems tonight, our dress rehearsal has gone well, our camera blocking is going well, so there’s no worries.”

Peta On Having Donald As Her Partner:
“It’s like this is the partner I should have always had,” Peta says. “Donald’s dedicated and he really wants to do this, I’m very happy with him.”

Peta On Show Day Activities:
“It’s a constant rehearsal, going in and out of CBS, hair and makeup, touch-ups. It’s really non-stop. Especially for the women. We are non-stop with hair and makeup and stuff, so it’s getting pretty crazy,” Peta says.
