Sadly, broadcasting legend Dick Clark passed away yesterday at the age of 82. His impact on the entire entertainment industry can’t be measured. He quite literally introduced rock and roll into our homes, hosting “American Bandstand” for a staggering run from 1957 to 1989.

He went on to create, host, and develop countless other programs from the “American Music Awards” to a show he launched in 1972 “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” Dick rightfully earned the title “America’s Oldest Teenager” due to his boyish looks and youthful spirit.
