Several big name actors and recording artists are lending their voices to the always hilarious animated film, “Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.” Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Aziz Ansari and Queen Latifah are just a few of the many artists that are featured in the film, but what we’re most excited to see is rapper Drake‘s character, especially after watching some behind the scenes footage of Drizzy recording some lines.
Drake is no stranger to the acting game; he starred in the Canadian TV series, “Degrassi: The Next Generation” for several seasons before hitting it big in the music industry. In Ice Age, he plays a wooly mammoth named Ethan who according to Drake, “is a young, strapping, handsome jock.” Ethan has a funky mohawk/mullet combo and a love interest in Keke Palmer‘s character, Peaches.
Watch below to see Drake in the studio dropping lines that aren’t in a rap, but are still pretty entertaining. The film is set to released in 3D on July 13.
